How to Open the Bonnet of a Toyota Corolla

Model: Toyota Corolla MK 5, E210 - Years 2019-2026

To open the bonnet of a Toyota Corolla, start by getting inside the vehicle. On the left side, under the dashboard, locate the bonnet release lever marked with an icon of an open bonnet. Pull the lever, and you will hear the bonnet pop slightly upwards. Move to the front of the car, place your hand under the front edge of the bonnet, find the central safety catch located in the centre or slightly to the left, and move it sideways or upwards depending on the model. Then, lift the bonnet and, if necessary, secure it with the support rod.
