The first step is to turn on the ignition and reset the trip mileage using the ODO/TRIP button located on the central console, below the air vents, then turn off the ignition. Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button and turn on the ignition without starting the engine (if the vehicle has an electronic ignition key with a start button, press the button twice without pressing the brake pedal): once the ignition is on, continue holding the ODO/TRIP button, and after five seconds, dashes will appear in the trip mileage area, gradually decreasing until a series of 00000000 is displayed. The reset is complete after this last sequence.
