How to Replace the Battery of a Toyota Yaris

Before starting, open the bonnet of your Toyota Yaris. Begin by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the battery bracket, then remove the battery itself. Next, move the cover from the positive terminal connected to the battery, then unscrew and remove the screws securing the two terminals to the battery, and finally disconnect them. This will free the battery. Proceed by extracting the battery from its location, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new battery, simply repeat these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
