Replacing the Number Plate Light on a Toyota Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp130 - Years 2011-2019

Open the boot of the car and use a plastic trim tool (not metal!) to detach the black internal cover. Do this slowly and gently, removing it from the housing piece by piece. As shown in the video, disconnect the hidden connector in the metal panel using a screwdriver (or the trim tool). Now you can extract the bulb with its holder. This will not be replaced but reused, changing only the bulb which you need to detach from the housing. Insert the new bulb and reassemble everything in reverse order: first the connector and then the internal plastic of the boot.
