Removing the rear light of the second series Toyota RAV4 is a straightforward task. First, gather the necessary tools: a trim removal tool, a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, and a 10 mm socket. Start by opening the access panel on the side you are working on and remove the side cover to access the back of the light. Using the 10 mm socket, undo the bolt, then extract the bulbs. Next, remove the trim and the seal of the boot area to access a nut that needs to be undone. At this point, the light is free to be removed from its housing.
