Before starting the procedure, ensure you apply masking tape and a protective sheet around the headlight you are working on. Now take 400-grit sandpaper and carefully rub it on the headlight that is thoroughly wet with water. Use circular motions to remove any small scratches present on the surface. If the headlight is heavily damaged, start with 600-grit sandpaper before moving to the finer 400-grit. Once finished, rinse the headlight and apply a polishing product and protective wax.
