Start by disconnecting the battery terminals located in the engine bay, then lift the vehicle in one of two ways: using a hydraulic jack and axle stands, or on a workshop lift, always ensuring maximum safety. Next, detach the exhaust from the exhaust system by unscrewing the clamp, or cut it with a grinder if it is too caked with dirt. Finally, remove the side support rubbers near the wheels, and the job is complete.
