How to Reset the Oil Light on the Toyota Avalon

If the oil change warning light on your Toyota Avalon continues to illuminate even after you have performed the maintenance correctly, you need to proceed with the following manual reset. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Next, locate the button below the speedometer and press it multiple times until you see "Trip A" on the mini display of the onboard computer. At this point, turn off the ignition and press the "Engine Start/Stop" button twice in quick succession. Hold down the same button you used earlier and press the ignition button twice again. Wait for the reset to complete, and you are finished.
