To disable the seatbelt chime on a Toyota Avensis, turn on the ignition. Press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument panel for about ten seconds, then insert the seatbelt. Next, press and hold the button again for another ten seconds. You can then turn off the ignition. When you turn it back on, you will notice that the seatbelt chime has been disabled.
