How to Reset the Service Light on the Toyota Rav4

Model: Toyota Rav 4 MK 3, Xa30 - Years 2006-2013

To reset the service light on the 2012 Toyota Rav 4, first turn on the ignition and press the trip button (located to the left of the speedometer at the bottom) until 'Trip A' appears. At this point, turn off the ignition, press and hold the trip button, and while holding the trip button, turn on the ignition and keep holding the trip button for 10 seconds; after 10 seconds, release the button and the reset is complete. To ensure the reset was successful, turn off and then turn on the ignition again. The procedure will take approximately 1 minute and is very simple to perform.
