Resetting the Service Light on a Toyota Yaris

After changing the oil, as part of the regular maintenance schedule for the Toyota Yaris, you need to reset the warning light that alerts you to the need for service. While seated in the driver's seat, turn on the instrument cluster and, using the button to the left of the central panel, select the "Trip A" function on the central display. Turn off and then turn on the ignition again, press and hold the button you used previously. The orange spanner light will start to flash for a few seconds; when the flashing stops, release the button and the procedure will be complete.
