How do you replace the key shell of the Toyota Yaris?

In order to replace the key shell of the Toyota Yaris, you need to loosen the screw that secures the key in the top part of the device: once this has been loosened, it will be possible to remove the key and open the two halves that make up the remote. The encoding chip inside can then be extracted, allowing the buttons to be removed as well; by doing this, you can insert them into the new key shell, securing the key in the top part and checking the functionality of the device.
