How to Replace the Engine Oil of a Triumph Bonneville

Model: Triumph Bonneville
Part: Engine oil

Video tutorial

Start by positioning your Triumph Bonneville upright. Next, run the engine for a few minutes to help the engine oil drain out. Once done, place a container underneath the oil sump, then unscrew and remove the lower oil drain plug.

This will allow all the engine oil to drain out. When all the engine oil has drained, screw the lower plug back in, then unscrew and remove the upper filler cap. At this point, using a funnel, add the new engine oil, and finally, screw the filler cap back on. Once the filler cap is secured, the replacement is complete.
