To replace the air filter on a Triumph Bonneville, you need to loosen the screw that secures the side cover. Once removed, you can disconnect the underlying connectors and the starter solenoid. At this point, you can loosen three screws that will allow you to remove a plastic cover with a tube, around which the air filter will be located. This can now be pulled out of its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After completing the operation, reassemble all the parts removed earlier.
