To replace the oil on the Triumph Bonneville, you need to loosen the oil drain plug with a socket spanner: this is located at the bottom of the bike, just behind the front wheel. Collect the used oil in a container; once it has completely drained, you can close the drain plug and top up the oil. To replace the oil filter, simply unscrew it by hand; it is positioned near the drain plug. The new filter should be lubricated with oil and then inserted.
