First, put the bike on the stand and start unscrewing the fixing pin of the front brake lever, using a cross wrench and a box wrench; then we remove and replace the old brake lever with the new one, adjusting the lever stroke. In the same way we will also disassemble and replace the clutch lever, disconnecting and connecting the steel clutch cable!

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
