Where is the gear position sensor located on the Triumph Trophy 900?

In order to replace the gear position sensor of the Triumph Trophy, you need to loosen the screws that fix the fairing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that it can be completely removed. After removing the fairing, it will be possible to identify the sensor in its underlying part, positioned immediately above the crankcase. The sensor must be disconnected from the appropriate cable and removed from inside its housing, replacing it with a new spare part; after the replacement it will be necessary to check that everything works by reassembling the fairing.

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
