To change the engine oil of the Triumph Thunderbird, loosen the drain plug located at the central lower part of the oil tank. Once the plug is loosened, allow all the used oil to flow into a suitably positioned container. After the oil has completely drained, close the drain plug and top up the oil. This operation should be done by inserting a funnel into the vent accessible from the right side of the bike and adding the necessary amount of oil.
