How to replace the engine oil of a Triumph Thunderbird?

To proceed with the engine oil replacement on our Triumph Thunderbird, start by checking that the engine is cold. Then, place the motorcycle on a stable and horizontal surface. Remove the oil cap on the right side of the engine and place a container under the oil drain plug. Remove the drain plug and allow the old oil to drain completely. Inspect and replace any damaged gaskets. Tighten the drain plug securely. Proceed to fill the engine with the recommended lubricant up to the correct level. Close the oil cap and start the engine to allow for even distribution of the oil. Turn off the engine and check the oil level using the dipstick. Add oil if necessary and close the oil cap. Finally, dispose of the used oil properly.

Change the Honda CBr 500R engine oil and oil filter

Let's find out the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the Honda CBR 500R motorcycle. First we go to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find on the sump; let the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we are going to unscrew and remove the oil filter, which we find behind the exhaust manifolds; we replace the cartridge with the new one, screwing in by hand and gently tightening. Finally we pour in the new engine oil, then check the oil level!
