In order to replace the rear shock absorber of a Piaggio, you need to open the underseat compartment: this way you will be able to locate the screws that are in the rear part of the compartment. Here you can loosen these screws, also removing the corresponding bolt: afterwards you will be able to locate the screws that secure the shock absorber from the bottom at the swingarm. Once these screws have been loosened, you can completely remove the shock absorber from its seat and insert the new one; at this point you will need to secure it, making sure everything is functioning properly.
