Before starting, lift the rear of your Piaggio Porter. Begin by removing the rear wheel by unscrewing the fastening bolts. Next, unscrew and remove the screws securing the drum to the hub, then take out the drum to access the rear brake shoes. Proceed by disconnecting the springs attached to the shoes. At this point, remove the brake cylinder by unscrewing the rear bolt. Once done, extract the shoes from their housing, disconnect the handbrake cable, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new shoes and reassemble everything, repeat this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
