When you want to replace the oil filter on a 1.6 MultiJet, the first thing to do is to lift the vehicle with a jack in order to facilitate the drainage of the liquid. Under the oil pan, before removing the tightening nut, it is important to place a container to collect the liquid to be disposed of according to the instructions of your municipality. Then we remove the nut from the oil pan and let the liquid drain out, only once it is finished can we close the nut; to facilitate the drainage we recommend opening the oil tank, opening the hood and removing the tank cap.
