Reasons why the tire monitoring system may not work

In reality, when the tire pressure monitoring system is not working, the reasons can be different: the sensors' battery is low, a problem with the TPMS control unit, damage from an impact, electromagnetic interference, or software issues that can interrupt communication between the control unit and sensors; but also incorrect tire installation. In most cases, TPMS sensors have an integrated and non-replaceable battery, so when it runs out, we need to change the entire sensor. Generally, these batteries have a lifespan of between eight and ten years.
