Reasons Why the Car Air Conditioning Doesn’t Work

In this video, we can see some reasons why the car air conditioning doesn’t work. The main reason is holes that may be present in the condenser, which is the front radiator; it is quite easy for this component to get damaged due to foreign objects being projected at high speed into the grille. The loss of refrigerant is detected only through special lenses and a UV light, which highlights the holes using the tracer mixed with the system's fluid. Unfortunately, to access this internal component, you need to dismantle almost the entire dashboard (as seen in the images of the video). Another cause could be the compressor, which leaks from the pulley bearing, or from the O-rings or compressor pipes. Other leaks may occur from the thermostat or from a damaged pipe, although the most common is from the recharge valve, which is the low-pressure (or high-pressure) valve.
