To change the bearing without removing the hub, we need to apply the handbrake and engage first gear, then loosen the hub nut as shown in the video. Next, we continue by lifting the car and removing the wheel, allowing us to detach the brake pad retaining clip and remove the brake caliper and pads. We proceed by sliding the hammer handle against the stop to detach the lower ball joint bolt. Now we can move on to installing the new bearing, starting with the installation of the lower ball joint. We position the bearing on the hub shaft and reattach the second snap ring on the ball joint. We reattach the support and remount the wheel.
