In this video, we are taught the correct way to adjust the external rearview mirrors: the first rule is that the left front handle should be in the lower right corner of the left mirror, and consequently the right front handle should be in the lower left corner of the right mirror. This way blind spots are minimized. Now let's divide the mirror into two halves: the right side is the safe zone, while the left side is the dangerous one. Keeping this in mind, when a vehicle appears in the "safe" zone we can change lanes, but when it is in the "dangerous" zone it is better to stay where we are.
