How to best use the air conditioning in our car

From this video, we can take note of some tips for using our car's air conditioner to its fullest potential. If the car has been sitting in the sun for a long time, the first thing to do is to open all four windows of the car, and turn on the air conditioner to let out the hot air as we drive the first few meters. It is not advisable to take long trips with the windows always closed; the air needs to be circulated occasionally. Just a couple of minutes per hour will be enough. If you have an automatic air conditioner, it is best to let it do everything, with the warning not to exceed a ten-degree difference between the internal and external temperatures. Avoid directing the cold air vents towards the chest, throat, or head, as this can lead to cold-related illnesses, and remember to replace the cabin air filter at each service.
