In this video tutorial, you will see how to top up the car's air conditioning with a £7 canister (available in 200g and 350g formats). This system can only be used if the car's air conditioning works but no longer cools to the original temperature. Usually, the recharge is performed even if the leak is minimal. The materials you will need are: a disposable canister and a specific hose for connecting to the low-pressure side of the air conditioning system. The hose is usually sold with the canister. An adapter can also be used. Start the car and turn on the air conditioning. Before attaching the tap to the canister, ensure that the tap's pin is fully raised. Once the canister is connected and the fittings tightened, attach the other end of the hose to the low-pressure connector of the air conditioning system. Check that the hose is securely connected to the connector; now you can puncture the canister to release the gas.
