How to Recharge Your Car's Air Conditioning Yourself

To save a fair amount of money by recharging the air conditioning, purchase the kit from easyklima.com (there are recharges for all vehicles). You will receive a complete kit with the hose, nozzles, pressure gauge, and the canister for the recharge, allowing you to do it all yourself, with comprehensive instructions. The cost is approximately £30. You can also buy a canister that seals leaks if desired. Open the bonnet, remove the air filter, and the air conditioning recharge cap. (This operation should be done with the engine running and the air conditioning on). Connect the canister to its inlet nozzle and start the procedure. The canister must be held upside down for 5 to 10 minutes, checking the pressure gauge. Job done.
