What consequences can the loss of oil from the turbo cause?

If black/bluish smoke comes out of our car, it is very likely that oil has leaked from the turbine, ending up in the intake or exhaust system. When oil burns, it produces thick, blue or bluish smoke, particularly visible during acceleration. We may also notice a persistent smell of burnt oil, even inside the vehicle. Along with this noticeable symptom, we may also detect a decrease in the oil level, as the engine will start consuming oil abnormally, requiring frequent top-ups. We will also notice a decrease in engine performance, and the car may seem slower to reach the desired speed. Additionally, we may hear a high-pitched whistle during acceleration: it is the turbine warning us that the bearings are compromised.
