This video talks about the properties of MOTIP EGR, a cleaning spray designed to remove carbon and deposits from EGR valves and the intake manifold without the need to disassemble them. It is a treatment that is done with the engine running. We can purchase MOTIP EGR on Amazon with the code B015XMWV6A for the price of €14.50 for a 500 ml can, with free delivery within 5 days. To get the product directly into the intake manifold, we need to find an access point, so - as shown in the video - we can either remove the air intake hose or take off the turbo pressure sensor (if it is located before the EGR). We start the engine and let it idle, shake the can well, insert the nozzle into the access point we created, and spray the product: the engine may "choke" or run unevenly. This is normal. We temporarily stop spraying until the engine stabilizes, and then continue. We turn off the engine when the can is empty, reassemble the component we removed, and drive for at least 10 minutes at medium to high RPMs. This helps burn off and expel any remaining carbon residues in the system.
