How to Adjust a Car's Handbrake?

The handbrake of a vehicle generally consists of the lever that we all easily notice and a cable that connects the base of this lever to the drum brakes. Over time, this cable may stretch and yield a few millimetres, resulting in it being too loose and ineffective when applied, so it needs adjusting. As shown in the available video, simply use an appropriate-sized spanner and act on the adjustment bolt, which is visible after removing the plastic cover under the lever. Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to tighten or loosen it.
