How to Fit Snow Chains on a Pewag Servo

To fit the Pewag Servo Sport snow chains, park the car on level ground and engage the handbrake. Unclip the chain from its case and lay it out in front of the tyre, with the automatic tensioner side facing outwards. Position the chain over the central part of the tread and activate the tensioner, which will automatically lock, securing the chain around the entire circumference of the wheel. Check for any loose or twisted areas. Repeat the same procedure on the other tyre. After driving approximately 100 to 200 metres, stop and check the tension and alignment of the chains again, adjusting if necessary to ensure a correct and secure fit.
