Today, learn how to fit snow chains on a vehicle's tyres by yourself. Before fitting the chains, check the width, diameter, and height of the tyre to purchase the correct chains. The code is found on the upper right side of the tyre itself. It is important to check if your tyres are low grip types, such as low-profile or low-sidewall tyres. For fitting, you need to install the chains on both the front and rear wheels, being careful not to mix them up. Pass the rigid part behind the wheel and use the hooks to secure them. Using the carabiner hook, fasten the front part of the chains. Ensure they are tightly secured to the wheel and do not exceed 31 mph.
