In this video, we will see the procedure for revising injectors: start by removing the coil, spring spacers, and magnet. Next, remove the components, which involves taking off the "fungo" and spacers. Consequently, loosen the valve nut and discard the old valve. The black spots you notice are pump shavings, a sign of general wear. Insert the new Teflon gasket, then the new valve, which is tightened, followed by the new "fungo" that is mounted after finding the correct spacer. Check the operation and calibration on the bench and generate the new IMA code after a successful test. Now the injector is ready to be reinstalled. In the video, they refer to the "fungo" as a part whose technical name would be "needle" or "shutter."
