How to reprogram a Nice remote control
Model: (Various brands) Various
Video tutorial
To program a new Nice remote control using an already functioning one, stand close to the receiver (in front of the gate), as the new remote "inherits" the settings from the old one via the receiver. The classic procedure is as follows: on the new remote, press and hold the button to be programmed for about 5-8 seconds (the exact time varies: 7 seconds for OXI receivers, 5 seconds for other models), then release it. Immediately after, on the previously stored old remote, press the same button three times slowly. Finally, on the new remote, press the button once more to confirm. The receiver should give a confirmation signal (LED flashing or sound). The function can be disabled by the installer on the receiver, so if the sequence does not start, it is not the battery's fault. Additionally, the new remote must be from the same coding family as the old one (e.g., both FloR or both O-Code), otherwise the receiver will not accept it. If the "remote" procedure does not work, the alternative is to program the new remote directly on the receiver by pressing the "Radio" or "Prog" button on the unit and following the instructions for your specific model.
