Removing Car Courtesy Lights

Let’s see how to remove the car's courtesy lights. Remove the transparent cover to replace the bulbs or to take down the entire light unit. Pry between the light unit and the headlining panel (without breaking anything), and pull the cover out from the light unit. Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Unscrew the securing screws if you want to remove the entire light unit. Refit the light unit in its housing and screw in the securing screws. Push the transparent plastic with your hands until the side tabs are fully locked. Test the correct operation of the lights.
