This video provides guidance applicable to most vehicles, teaching you how to correctly use the lights on your car. Generally, there is a white line to align with, whether it is a lever or a dial: if it is pointing to "OFF", the lights will be off; if it is pointing to "AUTO", the automatic lights will be activated.

Otherwise, you will need to select the dipped headlights, just below, or the main beam.

To flash the main beam, pull the lever towards you (this also applies to cars with a dial control; it is activated with the indicator lever): then, of course, there is the use of the indicator, positioned at the top right and bottom left. There is also the front fog light indicator and the rear fog light indicator, and generally in the centre of the dashboard, there is the red triangle for the hazard lights.
