Operation: How to change the engine oil of a Porsche 718

Before we begin, we will have to open the rear engine hood of our Porsche 718. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the engine oil top cap. Next, we will have to lift the rear of the vehicle. By doing so, we will have reached the lower spill nut. We therefore proceed by placing a container under the oil pan, then unscrew and remove the spill nut, thus letting all the engine oil flow out. Once the engine oil has escaped, we will have to screw the lower nut back on, and then lower the rear axle. At this point, we will have to insert the new oil through the filling hole, and finally we will have to screw the relative cap back on. When we have screwed the filler cap back on, we will have successfully completed the replacement.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
