Checking the oil level on a vehicle is a very important procedure to perform independently, especially when the oil warning light comes on, as knowing whether the quantity present is adequate can save your engine. To check the oil level, open the bonnet, wait for the engine and circuits to cool down, and unscrew the dipstick located near the oil reservoir.

Once pulled out, clean it and reinsert it. Remove it again and check that the oil level is not above the MAX mark or below the MIN mark.
