Before a car trip, it is good to check the amount of motor oil present in the oil tank. To verify the quantity, we must open the hood and then lift the dipstick on the oil tank. Once the dipstick is removed, we clean and reinsert it, and then remove it again. Now we check that the oil level is between the MIN and MAX marks. If it is below, we must top it up, if it is above, we need to remove the excess by opening the oil cap or using a small pump to extract the oil from the tank.
