This video shows how to replace the footboard on the Piaggio Liberty 125 scooter. The first part to remove is the seat, then the under-seat panel, and finally the inner shield. To remove the seat, lift it and take off the two nuts with an 8 mm spanner. To remove the under-seat panel, unscrew the side screw and open the access flap to the spark plug, removing the two screws; take off the luggage rack. To remove the luggage rack, unscrew the screws. Once the luggage rack and plastic cover are removed, take out the screws located inside the small window near the footboard. Remove the screws from the crash bar and disconnect the indicator and headlamp unit to free the crash bar. Now take the rear fairing and lift it. Next, remove the inner shield by unscrewing the fixing screws. At this point, you can remove the footboard and replace it.
