After machining the cylinder head, check the flatness of the surface using a ground bar and a feeler gauge for valves; the same operation should be performed on the cylinder block after carefully grinding the surface. Install the intake manifold by inserting the new gasket; re-tap the threads of the cylinder head fixing holes using the tap extension, taking care to remove any debris; apply the new gasket, then the cylinder head, and use a new stud kit to secure it (apply sealant on the bottom of the thread and under the head of the studs): the studs must be tightened with a torque wrench and an angle wrench following a cross pattern. Finally, install the exhaust manifold and the rocker cover with the respective new gaskets.
