Where to Find and How to Replace the Battery in the Yamaha Tricity 125

This tutorial explains where the battery is located and how to replace it. To access the battery compartment, lift the seat and unscrew the side screws holding the plastic cover; the battery is located under the seat hinge. Once the plastic cover is removed, you will have access to the battery and can proceed with the replacement. Obtain a new battery with a voltage of 12V and 6Ah (always check the user manual or ask the parts dealer for the correct one for your vehicle) and using an Allen key, first unscrew the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Detach the rubber retaining strap and extract the battery. Install the new one and reverse the steps to reassemble everything. Finally, test the new battery by turning on the engine.
