How to Resync a Remote After Changing the Battery

After replacing the battery in the remote, it may no longer function. The cause is often a loss of synchronisation. To resolve this, remove the metal key from the remote casing. Insert it into the door lock and turn it clockwise and anti-clockwise 10 times. This resets the battery and restores the connection with the vehicle. If it does not work, look for the emergency ignition switch in the glove compartment (on the left side). Insert the key and repeat the 10 rotations. Alternatively, insert the key into the ignition barrel and turn it 10 times. This procedure is valid for most vehicles.
