Let's see how to use the electronic handbrake, which we remember is not a real handbrake, but a parking brake. When the warning light is on it means that the brake is applied. To disengage it, just press the button and the brake is released and the warning light goes off. To insert it instead you have to lift the button. Another way to release the handbrake is: fasten the seat belt, drive away and the parking brake releases itself. The "auto hold" button, on the other hand, is used for when you have to stop on an uphill or downhill slope: by pressing this button we do not need to press the brake, the car remains stationary. It restarts by itself if we press the clutch (manual gearbox) or touch the accelerator (automatic gearbox).
