How to Replace the Electromagnet of the Starter Motor

Once you have removed the starter motor and extracted it from the engine bay, you can proceed to open it for internal maintenance. To do this, follow the instructions below and refer to the video tutorial. First, unscrew the rear fixing screws. Once the motor is opened, you will find the brush assembly that can be extracted. Below it is the rotor with the electromagnet, which can be removed from the stator and, if necessary, replaced or rewound with copper.
