Do we want to replace the starter motor of our car? Let's see how the damaged piece is removed from inside the engine compartment. We raise the front hood to access the starter motor. If we have problems, we jack up the car and operate from below. We disconnect the terminals of the starter motor power supply with pliers or screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, unscrew the locking pins of the starter motor with a socket wrench and remove it from inside the engine compartment. We fix the starter motor with the connection of the power supply cables and with the attached tightening screws. We replace the starter motor with a new one of the same type and power supply.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
