Replacing the Starter Motor

Want to replace the starter motor in your car? Here’s how to remove the damaged part from the engine bay. Lift the front bonnet to access the starter motor. If you encounter difficulties, raise the car with a jack and work from underneath. Disconnect the starter motor power terminals using pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the tab pressure. Unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor with a socket spanner and remove it from the engine bay. Fit the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and the associated securing screws.
