The starter motor is an electric motor that connects and spins the flywheel to initiate the movement of the pistons in order to create the compression needed to start the car. Here are some of the signs we may encounter when the starter motor needs to be replaced. Often the first sign of trouble starting is hearing a loud click or a series of clicks that occur when the key is turned. This is the sound of the starter motor activating but not turning. If we also hear grinding rolling noises when we go to start the car, also in this case the problem may be attributable to the motor and is probably caused by a problem with a gear that may have lost one or more teeth.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
