Today we will explain how to remove the starter motor on a car. We start by opening the front hood and locating the fixing nut of the starter motor element. Usually, there are two locking nuts, one on the bottom side and the other on the top side. Using a ratchet wrench, we unscrew the bolt of the bottom nut and then the top nut while holding the starter motor firmly in place, as a possible fall could damage the motor itself and make the repair less certain. We then remove the starter motor and proceed with the inspection.
